A spiritual ME: belief In the KNOWn

Something insightful happened while I was watching television...

a characters parent was an avid churchgoer, but couldnt explain why her daughter was ill and could not explain beyond her own faith that she would get well.

*it turned out that her body was being inhabited by another persons soul... *

(that sci-fi aside... the doctor tending to the girl made a statement that will stay with me forever)

"unless you believe, you will not understand"...(Isiah 7:9). the things we commit to memory become a part of us in some way. so what we should believe in is our intellect, our talents and abilities (both latent and overt) and in affect: we will believe in ourselves.

and then i bought a WWD Men's Collection...

So there I was riding back to BK on the J. I had just come from a meeting with a [clothing line]. It was interesting To say the least: a variety of 'professionals' with an array of diverse experiences and career experiences...

But it seemed as if we all had questions and were wondering where we might be

if we could help each other in some capacity.

It was the first time (in the recession) that I felt both wanted but of no use to someone else.

(or am i? i may be called back out of the group...)

I then i bought a WWD Men's Collection...

Ran to the train because it had been a 2 hr meeting... it was now 10:20 PM.

I sat parellel to a man who resembled a cuban kirk douglas:

Blue Checkered Shirt

Red Cardigan

Olive or Tan Corduroy Pants

and White High Sneaks

i would add this tie, cuz he didnt have one on.

i still believe in them.

thinking of a master plan... and since its madd cold outside, I might as well post this...~

This Is Where I Wanna Take Things...to the HNL!

Going on a trip of sorts...with no seats...!

Im going to be taking the 3 weeks til my birthday a little more seriously...Im going to be wild old, so I think I need to prioritize rather than glorifize (if thats a word...*weezy shout). And as such I will be taking this 3 weeks to take a holistic look at my life... no this is not anything wild terminal .... Im just gonna use this 3 weeks to accomplish all the tasks I put before myself:

Create a T-Shirt (To be sold exclusively through this blog! plug plug...ahhhthankyou...)
Register for School (again, I kno...)
Pay a Jukutist Balance on my Stank of America Card
Eat No (added/jukutist) Sugars
Find a 3rd Job (again, I kno)
Develop 3 tangible pieces of art
Stroll at a party
Drop this bag of clothes off to a charity already...
Play a game of BBALL
See a family member I haven't seen in a while
See a friend I havent seen in a while
Make a new friend
Read a New Book
See a Foreign or Independent Film
Take a Hilarious Picture and tag one of my friends as myself...
Eat a new food
Listen to Advice
Go one day without cursing
Formulate a tattoo idea
Write a thank you note to someone who deserves it...
Become more organized
Go to a Museum or Art Gallery
Scare the Heck out of someone...and much more...

KAWS Exhibit Twerk

So I of course missed the opening, but still a great experience regardless. KAWS has been a pioneer in taking abstract themes and pop culture icons and melding them in a fusion of coolness. This was me and my man Rell @ the Gehry/Lopez... almost got slandered by the deskhelp until we told them we were there to see some "graffiti"... thanks blanco!
